Can you tell me about the e-Golfs electric engine?

The all-electric front-wheel-drive 2019 e-Golf now comes standard with a 35.8-kWh battery pack, 7.2-kW on board charger, and DC fast-charging capability. Regenerative braking modes allow you to recharge your battery while driving around. Want to know how it works? The e-Golf will convert the energy from braking or lifting your foot off the gas pedal into electricity. Normal, Eco, and Eco+ driving modes let you pick performance, performance and efficiency, or maximum efficiency. The second trim level the e-Golf offers is the SEL Premium. Features included in the higher end trim are a 9.2-inch touchscreen, navigation, a digital gauge cluster display, auto-dimming mirror, and the Driver Assistance package. The e-Golf isn't lacking in cargo space with 22.8 cubic feet of space behind and rear seats with 52.7 cubic feet with the seats folded down.

What are the safety options?

The e-Golf is packed with safety and security to give you peace of mind. An optional Driver Assistance package that comes standard on the SEL Premium trim includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
